compassion circles
the camp fire
We need places where we can join with others, unite around shared challenges and joys, seek and receive compassion.
The camp fire is a free, online gathering place where we can do just that.
everyone is welcome
the camp fire
Connection and creativity can be powerful sources of healing.
Back in 2020, I interviewed Catherine Butterly, a trauma specialist and psychotherapist, who works as a trainer for group facilitators for The Common Threads Project providing healing circles for people who have suffered sexual violence and trauma in post-conflict situations. In the face of such trauma, connection created the potential for healing.
This is the spirit of the camp fire.
We are social creatures. We need people. We need connection.
Yet, we are increasingly mobile and often move far from those we love the most. As a nomadic mother, I find myself craving connectedness. I see and feel the power of social media groups (some wonderful compassionate groups I am lucky to be part of), witnessing the support people offer one another.
This inspired me to create a place where we can connect more directly. Where we can feel, live, the presence of others who resonate with us. As once, we would gather around a camp fire, share our stories and receive support.
This is the inspiration for the camp fire. A place to gather and warm your soul.

how it works
Every 2 months, I invite you to join me for 75 minutes in an online space.
These gatherings are free & all are welcome.
Each meeting, we will unite around a theme and enjoy a short, somatic and collective practice.
The camp fire is for seekers of community, those yearning to connect with an open heart and compassion with our fellow travellers in life.
As we walk our separate paths, wherever we are in the world, we don't have to walk alone.
The camp fires will take place place on Thursdays at 19h CET.
