About Me.
I have always been curious about people and relationships.
A genuine sense of curiosity and a desire to explore the world from the perspective of others drove me to study languages, humanities and then anthropology.
As a teenager, I travelled in the summer staying with a family in France and I was hooked, fascinated by the chance to hear different stories and be immersed in a different culture.
Since then, I have studied languages, humanities and anthropology, driven by this curiosity and compassion for people. I have lived in seven countries, married a French husband and have two wonderful children, who are French and British like me.
My doctoral research in anthropology took me to Tunisia to study marriage and divorce. It was important to me to listen to women’s and men’s perspectives and experiences. I spent months living with a local family and many more months in a family court. I spent time with litigants, lawyers, judges, clerks, with men, women and children. I fell in love with the people, who shared their stories so generously and helped me understand how relationships were formed and how they sometimes fall apart. I learned the power of empathy and listening without judgment to those who had survived violence and trauma.
I spent 10 years working in Geneva, as a consultant on gender and communication for clients such as the ICRC, UNICEF, UNESCO and Médecins du Monde. I also had the pleasure of teaching some wonderful young people at Webster University Geneva giving courses on topics such as anthropology, communication, media and gender. It was a privilege to work in this multicultural heaven where I learned something new from them every day.

More recently, I have moved to Montpellier, experiencing again the challenges and the joys of life as an international nomad partner and mother, reconnecting with my passions and growing my practice to serve those in similar situations.
Together, these experiences have given me a passion for the human relationships that shape our lives and the communication that fuels them. They inspired me to train in counselling to be able to accompany individuals traversing their own difficulties leading me to complete an MA in Counselling at Webster University Geneva.
Thank you for reading my story.
Please do reach out if you feel I could be of assistance to explore how we might work together.
